Connecting Marty or Cog
 Open the “Connect” menu in the top left corner.
 Select your device and follow the on-screen instructions.


Using the app without a device
 You can still use the app without connecting Marty or Cog.
The Blocks Jr coding environment allows students to learn coding by programming on-screen sprites in the web app.

Does my existing Marty work with the new app?

Yes, the new app works with any Marty V2, (that’s any Marty that was purchased after 2020). If you’re not sure which Marty you have, you can find out how using our “Which Marty Do You Have” guide. 

Will my saved projects migrate to the new app?

Yes. If a user has been using sprites and Marty together in a project in the older Marty V2 App, it may need a little extra setup after opening. For simpler, Marty-only projects, everything should work smoothly right away.
